The U.G. Department was established in 2006, Since then the combined strength of students has exceeded. Politics is the most democratic of all sciences as the final judgments concerning political reality and good life are the responsibility of all. Study of the subject opens up multiple opportunities for political science graduates. Students can choose from diverse fields such as civil services, law, journalism, print and electronic media, entrepreneurship, teaching and research, etc., for advancing one's career.

The department has a diverse faculty whose specializations spread across various field of political science. Various events like conferences, informative sessions, lectures and talks, student activities, visits are done for the intellectual and creative development of the students.

• The P.G. department of political science was established in the year 2009. There are 40 seats allotted for the post-graduation. The department focus on the theory and practice of government and politics at the local, state, national and international level. We are dedicated to developing understandings of institutions, practices and relations that constitute public life and modes of inquire that promote citizenship. The department offers specialization in Comparative Politics, Research Mythology, International Relations, Political Thought and Political Theory. We encourage students to specialize in one of these subjects. We are providing the departmental activities takes initiatives for overall development of students and give then a practical orientation, like –
